February 24 And 25 Tax Committee Meetings in Washington, DC

TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 5-09     RE: FEBRUARY 24 AND 25 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS IN WASHINGTON, DC

 

Attached are the preliminary agendas for the Tax Committee meetings to be held on Tuesday, February 24, beginning at 10:00 a.m., and Wednesday, February 25, beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the David Silver Conference Room, on the 12th floor of the Institute’s offices at 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005.

Members unable to attend the February meetings of the Tax Committee will be permitted to call in. [1]  The dial-in numbers are as follows: 

  • The dial-in number for the call on Tuesday, February 24, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., is 888-603-9618 and the passcode is 57678. 
  • The dial-in number for the calls on Tuesday, February 24, from 2:00-5:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, February 25, from 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., is 888-324-2909 and the passcode is 60036. 

If you plan to call in, please complete and return the attached response form to Ezella Wynn by email (ewynn@ici.org) or fax (202-326-5841) no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit

Meeting attendees are eligible for approximately 7.00 hours of CPE credit (Taxation).  The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (“NASBA”) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to NASBA, 150 Fourth Avenue North, Suite 700, Nashville, TN 37219-2417, www.nasba.org.
