Institute to begin Regular Committee Conference Calls -- First Call Scheduled for January 6 at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time

PENSION OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 32-08     RE: INSTITUTE TO BEGIN REGULAR COMMITTEE CONFERENCE CALLS -- FIRST CALL SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 6 AT 3:00 P.M. EASTERN TIME

 

Beginning in January, the Institute will schedule regular conference calls with the Pension Committee and Pension Operations Advisory Committee midway between regular committee meetings.  The calls will serve as “mini” committee meetings and provide additional opportunity for the Institute to update you on new regulatory, legislative and litigation developments and to address any issues or developments of interest to you that occurred since the last committee meeting. 

The first call is scheduled for January 6, at 3:00 pm E.T.  We will provide an update on the status of various regulatory and legislative initiatives and how they might be affected by a new Congress and new administration.  We will circulate the agenda and dial-in information before the call.  In the meantime, please let me (adriggs@ici.org or (202) 218-3573) know if you have any specific topics you would like us to discuss during the call.
