ADVISER DISTRIBUTOR TAX ISSUES TASK FORCE No. 15-08     RE: DECEMBER TAX COMMITTEE CALLS ON THE 3RD AND 9TH

 

The next monthly Tax Committee conference call, as we previously informed you, will be held on Wednesday, December 3, at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern).  [1] Rather than discuss members’ tax questions, this call will focus on excise tax issues (and other RIC modernization proposals) for which legislation is needed.  The attached memoranda discuss several of these excise tax issues.

The call-in information for Wednesday’s call remains unchanged.  The dial-in number for the call is 800-857-9701 and the passcode is 14447.  To participate in the call, please complete the attached response form and return it to Ezella Wynn by e-mail (ewynn@ici.org) or fax (202-326-5841) no later than 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2.

In addition, a conference call has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss members’ tax questions and other recent developments.  Details regarding the December 9 call will be distributed later this week.
