The meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on both days.
Please register for this committee meeting and dinner using our Cvent online registration. Committee members (or their substitutes) that elect to attend the committee dinner will be charged a standard amount via credit card as part of the registration process (please see Hotel & Dinner). To register for the Technology Committee meeting and dinner, please visit our registration site at http://members.ici.org/reg/tech. If you have questions about registration, please contact Agnes Thomas at 202-326-5846 or agnes@ici.org.
The February meeting will be structured differently than prior Technology Committee meetings. This is the first time we will have a separate BCP track on the agenda. Each day the BCP Sub-Committee will separate from the Technology Committee and have discussions and presentations specifically aimed at their interests. The two groups will spend time each day together as well to more effectively cover items of more general relevance.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the JW Marriott, 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, for the evenings of February 17 & 18, 2009. The room rate is $269 single/double per night. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (800) 228-9290 and ask for a room in the Investment Company Institute’s room block. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible as rooms are limited. The hotel requires all reservations be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit by Monday January 26, 2009 to receive the room block rate. Deposits are refundable if the hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.
There is a Committee dinner scheduled for February 18th at Acadiana, 901 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. The restaurant phone number is (202) 408-8848. If you plan to sign up for the dinner, there will be a cost of $85.00 which you will pay at the time that you register online. If you have any questions regarding the meeting you may contact Peter Salmon at 202/326-5869 or salmon@ici.org. We look forward to seeing you in Washington!
