TO: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 31-08 RE: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING - FEBRUARY 18 & 19, 2009
The next meeting of the Technology Committee and BCP Sub-Committee will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, February 18 & 19, 2009 at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, David Silver Conference Room, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on both days.
The February meeting will be structured differently than prior Technology Committee meetings. This is the first time we will have a separate BCP track on the agenda. Each day the BCP Sub-Committee will separate from the Technology Committee and have discussions and presentations specifically aimed at their interests. The two groups will spend time each day together as well to more effectively cover items of more general relevance.
A preliminary agenda and hotel details will follow shortly. There is a Committee dinner scheduled for February 18th and information is forthcoming. If you plan to sign up for the dinner, there will be a cost of $85.00. Please note, that if you confirm attendance for the TC dinner and cancel within 3 business days of the scheduled event, you will be charged for your portion of the pre-arranged dinner.
Please register for this committee meeting and dinner using our Cvent online registration at http://members.ici.org/reg/tech. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay the standard amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. If you have any questions about registration, please contact Agnes Thomas at 202-326-5846 or agnes@ici.org.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR “SHOP TALK.” Space is provided for you in Cvent to list your suggestions or you can email Peter Salmon at salmon@ici.org.
If you have any questions regarding the meeting you may contact Peter Salmon at 202/326-5869 or salmon@ici.org. We look forward to seeing you in Washington!
