If you have not yet registered for the fall 2008 meeting of the Investment Company Institute’s Internal Sales Managers Roundtable, please do so as soon as possible. The meeting will run from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 23 and from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the offices of American Century Investments at 4400 Main Street in Kansas City, MO. A meeting agenda is attached.
Meeting Registration
Online registration for the meeting is available at http://members.ici.org/reg/roundtable. Please note that meeting attendance is limited to a maximum of three representatives per member firm.
Hotel Arrangements
A block of rooms has been reserved for meeting attendees at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, which is located at 4445 Main Street (approximately 23 miles from the Kansas City airport and a $50 cab ride) and within a very brief walk of American Century’s offices. To make your hotel reservations, please call the hotel directly at 816-531-3000 and mention that you are calling as part of the Investment Company Institute room block in order to receive the discounted rate of $149/night plus tax.
Committee Dinner
The optional networking dinner on Thursday, October 23 will be held at Starker's Restaurant, which is located at 201 W 47th Street (Corner of 47th & Wyandotte) in Kansas City. The telephone number for Starker’s is 816/753-3565. The restaurant’s website address is www.starkersrestaurant.com. Starker’s is a very short walk from the Kansas City Marriott.
The cost of the dinner will be $85. You may register for the dinner when you complete your meeting registration. Please note that if you cancel a dinner registration with less than 72-hours notice, the $85 fee will NOT be refunded.
Miscellaneous
Business casual attire will be appropriate for both the meeting and the networking dinner.
