The enclosed report is the landscape document prepared by
the U.S. Working Committee that outlines the Group of Thirty
recommendations for worldwide standardized settlement practices.
This report was promised to the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee
at their September 18 meeting.
The ICI Operations Department is organizing a task force to
analyze the impact of the G30's proposed changes on the mutual
fund industry. Your comments are welcome and can be directed to
myself, Don O'Connor, Don Boteler, or Kathy Joaquin. We will
insure that any comments are forwarded to the task force for
their use.
