CCO Committee Meeting November 14th Following SEC's National CCOutreach Program; Next Compliance Conference June 4-5, 2009

TO: CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER COMMITTEE No. 7-08     RE: CCO COMMITTEE MEETING NOVEMBER 14TH FOLLOWING SEC’S NATIONAL CCOutreach PROGRAM; NEXT COMPLIANCE CONFERENCE JUNE 4-5, 2009

 

             The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that it intends to hold its next National CCOutreach program in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, November 13.  As in years past, the Institute’s CCO Committee will meet in Washington on the day following the SEC’s program, Friday, November 14th.  More details on the committee meeting and its location will be provided when they become available.  In the meantime, please mark your calendars and plan to attend the meeting.  (Regional meetings of the Committee will also be scheduled for the fall.)

 

              In addition, please mark your calendars and plan to attend the Institute’s next annual Mutual Fund Compliance Programs Conference, which will be held in Alexandria, Virginia on Thursday and Friday, June 4-5, 2009.  While more details relating to that conference will be provided in 2009, the location will be as equally convenient to conference attendees as our previous locations in Washington, D.C.  (The conference hotel is approximately 6 miles from Reagan National Airport.)
