TO: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 13-08 RE: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA - JULY 16 & 17, 2008
The next meeting of the Technology Committee will take place on Wednesday and Thursday July 16 & 17, 2008 at The Sphinx Club at Almas Temple, Oasis Room, 1315 K Street, NW, Washington, DC. The sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. on both days. Participants are encouraged to attend both meetings. A preliminary agenda is attached.
Hotel
The Institute has reserved a block of rooms at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza, located at 14th & K Streets, NW, for the evenings of July 15 & 16 at a rate of $269.00 single/double. Please note that only a small number of rooms are available for the evening of July 15. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (800) 263-9802 and ask for a room in the Investment Company Institute’s room block. The hotel requires all reservations be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit by Monday June 16, 2008 to receive the room block rate. Deposits are refundable if the hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

Committee Dinner
The committee dinner will be held on July 16th at Mio Restaurant, 1110 Vermont Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m. The restaurant may be contacted at (202) 955-0075. There will be a cost of $85.00 for the dinner, which you will pay at the time that you register via Cvent. Kindly note that if you confirm attendance for the dinner and cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled event, we will not be able to refund your payment. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
