TO: TAX ADVISORY COMMITTEE     RE: LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE FOR NON-MEMBERS TO ATTEND 2008 COMPLEX SECURITIES WORKSHOP IN NEW YORK OR BOSTON

 

The Investment Company Institute has limited space available for employees of law and accounting firms to attend the 2008 Complex Securities Workshop in New York or Boston.  The workshop is a one-day program covering a variety of issues related to the taxation of complex securities, including:

  • Options, Futures, and Forwards
  • Notional Principal Contracts
  • Contingent Debt
  • Foreign Issues
  • Tax-Exempt Derivatives
  • Mortgage-Backed and Asset-Backed Securities
