MONEY MARKET FUNDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 9-08     RE: REMINDER - MAY 15 INSTITUTIONAL MONEY MARKET FUNDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING; FINAL AGENDA

 

As we previously informed you, a meeting of the Institutional Money Market Funds Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2008, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC.  The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time in the David Silver Conference Room and should conclude no later than 4:30 p.m.  Lunch will be available beginning at 12:30 p.m.  The final meeting agenda is attached.

 

Andrew “Buddy” Donohue, Director, and Robert Plaze, Associate Director, of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, will attend the meeting to discuss, among other things, developments in the credit markets affecting money market funds.  Given these developments in this area, please make every effort to send a representative from your firm to the meeting.
