INTERNATIONAL INVESTING SUBCOMMITTEE No. 3-08     RE: PRELIMINARY AGENDAS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE, ICI - EFAMA, AND IOAC MEETINGS AND INFORMATION FOR COMMITTEE DINNER - MAY 6 AND 7, 2008

 

As we notified you last month, the next meeting of the International Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room (DSCR), 1401 H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC.  Committee members are also invited to participate in the ICI’s International Operations Advisory Committee meeting that same morning at 8:30 a.m., also in the DSCR.  The joint meeting of the ICI’s International Committee and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) will be held in the DSCR the following day, Wednesday, May 7, beginning at 8:30 a.m., with continental breakfast available before the meeting at 8:00 a.m.  Lunch will be served following the meeting.

 

The annual dinner for International Committee members and for international guests attending the Institute’s General Membership Meeting will be held on the evening of Tuesday, May 6.  The cocktail reception and dinner will be held at Acadiana, 901 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m.  Transportation by bus will be available from the Marriott Wardman Park hotel, site of the General Membership Meeting.  The bus will be at the 24th Street entrance of the hotel (next to Harry’s Pub) at 5:45 p.m. and will depart promptly at 6:00 p.m.

 

Preliminary agendas for all three meetings are attached to this memorandum.  If you have not registered for this meeting and wish to do so, please register online via Cvent at  International Committee meeting online registration as soon as possible.  A response for the dinner is also attached to this memorandum.
