Preliminary Agenda for IOAC Meeting - May 5-7, 2008

TO: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 5-08     RE: PRELIMINARY AGENDA FOR IOAC MEETING - MAY 5-7, 2008

 

              The next meeting of the Institute’s International Operations Advisory Committee (“IOAC”) will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in the David Silver Conference Room (“DSCR”) at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H St., N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC.  The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. with continental breakfast and the meeting is expected to conclude at approximately 12:00 p.m. 

 

              The IOAC will then have a joint lunch with the International Committee and has been invited to participate in the International Committee meeting in the DSCR immediately following lunch.  That meeting is expected to conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m.

 

              On May 7th, the IOAC has been invited to participate in a meeting with both EFAMA and the International Committee.  The meeting will take place in the DSCR beginning with continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude by noon.  Lunch will be provided.  Attire for the meetings is business.

 

              The agenda for the IOAC meeting is attached for your review.  The agendas for the International Committee and EFAMA meetings will be sent to you under separate cover.

Committee Dinner –May 5

             

              The Committee dinner will be held on Monday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. at Brasserie Beck, which is located at 1101 K Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005.  The restaurant’s phone number is 202-408-1717.  The dinner will cost $85.00 per person, which you will pay at the time that you register via Cvent.  Attire for the dinner is business casual.  Kindly note that if you confirm attendance for the IOAC dinner and cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled event, we will not be able to refund your payment.
