Effective immediately, Michael L. Radziemski, Partner and Chief Information Officer, Lord Abbett Family of Funds, is the new Chairman of the Investment Company Institute’s Technology Committee. Since joining the Technology Committee four years ago, Mike has participated in numerous ICI projects both at the Committee level and beyond. Mike’s willingness to share his professional expertise with Committee members and Institute staff makes him particularly well suited to serve as the new Chairman of the Technology Committee.

 

Mike Radziemski is replacing Andrea Young who served as Chair of the Technology Committee since 2006 and was a member of the Committee since 2003. During Andrea’s time as Chair, Andrea actively participated in Institute conferences as a speaker and was always available to Institute staff that had questions about regulatory or legislative technology initiatives. In addition, Andrea worked closely with the Institute on the production of Electronic Recordkeeping and Communications - Guidance for Investment Companies and Investment Advisers, a publication designed to provide guidance to funds and their advisers in crafting and implementing an effective records management program. The Technology Committee, in particular, will always be grateful for Andrea’s many contributions.
