TO: EQUITY MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 17-08 RE: DATE CHANGE -- EQUITY MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MOVED TO MAY 6; DRAFT AGENDA
The next meeting of the Equity Markets Advisory Committee, originally scheduled for April 29, 2008, has been moved to Tuesday, May 6, 2008. The meeting will still take place at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The schedule change was made to accommodate those members who will be attending the NOIP Spring Conference in Washington, as well as in response to requests from members. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. A draft meeting agenda is attached.
Erik Sirri, Director of the SEC’s Division of Trading and Markets, will attend the meeting to discuss trading and market structure initiatives at the SEC. Given the significance of these issues to funds, please make every effort to send a representative from your firm to the meeting. We anticipate that the meeting will conclude no later than 4:00 p.m.
