TO: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 32-07 RE: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING - FEBRUARY 6 & 7, 2008

The next meeting of the Technology Committee will take place on Wednesday and Thursday February 6 & 7, 2008 at The Sphinx Club at Almas Temple, Oasis Room, 1315 K Street, NW, Washington, DC. The sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. on both days. Participants are encouraged to attend both meetings. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR “SHOP TALK.”

Recruitment

The Technology Committee was formed almost ten years ago. Since that time, the Committee has grown from a handful of individuals to a roster of 100 members. On a regular basis, approximately 35 of the members attend Committee meetings to hear first-rate presentations from technology experts, business continuity professionals, and interact with peers and colleagues. Based on feedback in the past, these forums have proven very worthwhile.

We would like to grow the list of active participants. If you are one of the regular attendees, we appreciate your participation and contributions in making this forum so valuable. We would, however, like to request that you reach out to peers across the industry as well as peers within your firm (either Head of Technology or Business Continuity Professionals) who have not been able to actively participate, and personally extend an invitation.

If you have never attended a Committee meeting, we ask that you consider attending the February meeting in Washington. This will provide you the opportunity to interact with other senior industry technology leaders and business continuity professionals that share similar business interests and challenges in an informal setting.

Online Registration

We are pleased to inform you that we now use online registration for ICI committee meetings and associated dinners. In addition, committee members (or their substitutes) that elect to attend the committee dinner will be charged a standard amount via credit card as part of the registration process. To register for the Technology Committee meeting and dinner, please visit our registration site at http://members.ici.org/reg/tech. If you have questions about registration, please contact Agnes Thomas at 202-326-5846 or agnes@ici.org.

Committee Dinner

A committee dinner has been arranged for the evening of February 6th and will take place at Brasserie Beck located at 1101 K Street, NW. There will be a cost of $85.00 for the dinner, which you will pay via Cvent at the time that you register for the event. Attire for the dinner is business casual. Please note, that if you confirm attendance for the TC dinner and cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled event, you will be charged for your portion of the pre-arranged dinner.
