TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 90-07 RE: DECEMBER 5 VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING
A meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the David Silver Conference Room.
Susan Nash and Bill Kotapish of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management will attend the meeting. Most significantly, they will discuss an SEC rulemaking initiative relating to mixed and shared funding. They also will discuss other variable insurance products initiatives at the SEC. We anticipate that the meeting will conclude no later than 2:00 p.m. The meeting agenda is attached.
