TO: RISK MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 5-07 RE: INSTITUTE COMMENT LETTER ON THE BUY SIDE RISK MANAGERS FORUM DRAFT OF "RISK PRINCIPLES FOR ASSET MANAGERS"

 

Attached please find a copy of the comment letter the Institute filed with the Buy Side Risk Managers Forum (BSRMF) on their draft of “Risk Principles of Asset Managers.”  The final letter is substantively identical to the letter previously circulated to the Committee for comment. [1]  The letter expresses support for the draft and includes the general and specific comments we discussed at the Committee’s recent meeting, as well as comments we received subsequent to the meeting. 

The Institute appreciates the Committee’s assistance with this letter and we will keep you apprised of future developments involving the BSMRF’s initiative.
