SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 76-07 RE: REMINDER - OCTOBER 11 INAUGURAL MEETING OF MUNICIPAL SECURITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND AGENDA
As we previously informed you, the inaugural meeting of the Municipal Securities Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the New York Marriot Financial Center Hotel, 85 West Street, New York, New York.
Hal Johnson, Deputy General Counsel at the MSRB, will attend the meeting to discuss MSRB proposals and initiatives impacting municipal securities. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time and will conclude no later than 1:00 p.m. The meeting agenda is attached.
The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Institute’s Equity, Fixed-Income & Derivatives Markets Conference. Following the conclusion of the meeting, we are hosting a dinner for Committee members as well as conference speakers at 6:30 p.m. The dinner will be held at Bobby Van’s Steakhouse, 25 Broad Street, New York, New York. Please indicate on the attached response form whether you, or an alternate from your firm, plan to attend the meeting and the dinner following the meeting. In addition, please provide any items that you would like to discuss at the meeting. We look forward to seeing you on October 11.
