A meeting of the Closed-End Investment Company Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Marriott New York Financial Center, 85 West Street, N.Y.C., NY. The meeting will be held in the Seaport Conference Room on the Third Floor from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Lunch will be available starting at 12:30 p.m.
We are pleased to announce that John H. Walsh, Associate Director-Chief Counsel, Office of Compliance, Inspections and Examinations, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will speak to the committee at 1:00 p.m.
Please also note that the ICI will be having its second annual Closed-End Fund Workshop on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Marriott New York Financial Center. For more information about the workshop, visit the ICI’s website at http://members.ici.org/conferences.do.
