The Institute will hold a conference call on Thursday, August 16 at 4:00 PM Eastern to discuss the “401(k) Fair Disclosure for Retirement Security Act of 2007” (H.R. 3185).  This bill, which would create additional sponsor- and participant-level disclosure requirements under ERISA and require a 401(k) plan to include at least one index fund among its investment options, was introduced by Representative George Miller, Chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, on July 26.
