A meeting of the Board of Governors has been scheduled
for Thursday, October 4, 1990 at 10:00 am. The meeting will be
held at the Washington Vista Hotel, 1400 M Street, NW,
Washington, DC 20005.
A dinner celebrating the Institute's 50th Anniversary is
planned for Wednesday evening, October 3, 1990 at the Corcoran
Gallery of Art, 17th Street and New York Avenue. A shuttle bus
will depart from the Washington Vista lobby at 6:50 pm for
cocktails at 7:00 pm. You should have already received a
separate invitation to this event. The dinner this year is black
tie and spouses are invited.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Washington Vista.
Please call (202)429-1700 and make your reservations as soon as
possible as the cut-off date for reservations is September 19.
Be sure and state that the rooms are reserved in the name of the
Investment Company Institute.
This memo is also advance notice that the winter Board of
Governors meeting will be held January 29-31, 1991 at the Mauna
Kea Beach Hotel, Hawaii.
Please indicate in the space provided below whether or not
you plan to attend the dinner and/or meeting and return the form
to the Institute.
