RE: NASAA FALL CONFERENCE IN BILLINGS, MONTANA

The North American Securities Administrators Association,
Inc. ("NASAA") will be holding its annual fall conference in
Billings, Montana on August 25-31, 1990. During the conference,
several NASAA committees will be holding meetings to discuss
topics of concern to both NASAA and industry.
The NASAA Investment Company Registration/Trading Practices
Committee will be meeting on Monday, August 27, 1990 from 8:00
a.m. to 12 noon in the Prospector Room at the Rodeway Inn. The
meeting will be open from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Inasmuch as
members of the Institute met with the Committee last month, we
will not be making a formal presentation to the Committee;
rather, we will update the Committee on certain portions of our
previous presentation. (See Memorandum to State Liaison
Committee No. 15-90, dated July 16, 1990.)
