The joint meeting of the Pension and Pension Operations Advisory Committees is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. The meeting will take place in the David Silver Conference Room at the Institute’s offices located at 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. A preliminary agenda is attached. If there are other issues that you would like us to include on the agenda, please contact Mary Podesta at 202-326-5826 or podesta@ici.org.
As with prior meetings, we plan to include time for members to discuss reporting and compliance issues. Please include those items in the space provided on the meeting response form.
Treasury and Department of Labor Officials to Speak
We are pleased to announce that Tom Reeder, Benefits Tax Counsel in the Office of Tax Policy, Department of the Treasury will provide an update on regulatory projects. Timothy D. Hauser, Associate Solicitor in the Plan Benefits Security Division of the Department of Labor will be our luncheon speaker.
June 4 Dinner
We are organizing a dinner for the evening of Monday, June 4 at 7:00 pm for any members who may be in town and would like to get together informally. Please let us know if you would like to join this dinner by sending an email to bturner@ici.org or returning the attached form.
