Preliminary Agendas and Additional Details on International Committee, ICI-EFAMA, and IOAC Meetings, May 8 and 9, 2007

INTERNATIONAL INVESTING SUBCOMMITTEE No. 5-07     RE: PRELIMINARY AGENDAS AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS ON INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE, ICI-EFAMA, AND IOAC MEETINGS, MAY 8 AND 9, 2007

 

As we notified you last month, the next meeting of the International Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room (DSCR), 1401 H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC.  Committee members are also invited to participate in the Institute’s International Operations Advisory Committee meeting that same morning at 8:30 a.m., also in the DSCR.  The joint meeting of the ICI International Committee and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) will be held in the DSCR the following day, Wednesday, May 9, beginning at 8:30 a.m., with continental breakfast available before the meeting at 8:00 a.m.  Lunch will be served following the meeting.

 

The annual dinner for International Committee members and for international guests attending the Institute’s General Membership Meeting will be held on the evening of Tuesday, May 8.  The cocktail reception and dinner will be held at Ardeo, 3311 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C., with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m.  The restaurant is in the Cleveland Park neighborhood and is a relatively short walk (0.6 miles) from the Marriott Wardman Park hotel, site of the General Membership Meeting.

 

Preliminary agendas for all three meetings and a response form are attached to this memorandum.  If you plan to attend and have not yet returned the response form, please do so as soon as possible.  We look forward to seeing you in Washington.
