RE: U.S. FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR SPECIFIC PLAN
The United States Department of the Treasury has released a draft financial services sector plan
(http://members.ici.org/bcp.do) that demonstrates the public/private collaborative effort to ensure
continued efficiency in and continuity of the sector in the event of an emergency. The Institute, as a
member of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council, was asked to review and comment on
the document. As the Institute represents your firm’s interests on the FSSCC, I ask that you take a
moment and review and comment on the draft document. Comments are due by October 26, 2006.
