[20373] September 15, 2006 TO: TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 14-06 RE: TAC MEETING - OCTOBER 8, 2006 As we previously informed you1 the next meeting of the Technology Advisory Committee and BCP Sub-Committee will take place on Sunday October 8, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach (Fountain Room), Huntington Beach, California. The Committee meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. on October 8 and conclude at approximately 6:30 p.m. Committee participants are urged to submit “shop talk” questions as soon as possible for use during the October meeting. A Committee dinner is scheduled for October 8 at Chimayo at the Beach, 315 Pacific Coast Highway. A reception will begin at 7:00 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:30 p.m. You may contact the restaurant at (714) 374-7273. The Institute’s policy is to bill individual Committee members who choose to attend for their portion of the dinner. Please note, that if you confirm attendance for the TAC dinner and cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled event, you will be charged for your portion of the pre-arranged dinner. . Attire for both the meeting and dinner is business casual. The Institute has arranged some activities for those Committee members that wish to take advantage of the meeting location. Golf and coastal cruising information can be found in the attached document. Please note, golf tee times are very limited and Committee participants will be accommodated on a first come first served basis. Additionally, for coastal cruising, the final price depends on the number of participants. Please note, that if you confirm attendance for golf or coastal cruising and cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled event, you will be charged for your pro rata share of the event’s expenses unless we can fill your spot.
