[19935] April 6, 2006 TO: BROKER/DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 15-06 RE: BDAC MEETING NOTICE - MAY 16-17, 2006 The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will take place on Tuesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Hilton Washington Hotel located at 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. On Tuesday, May 16, lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. On Wednesday, May 17, continental breakfast will be available at 8:15 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon and the meeting is expected to conclude by 2:00 p.m. Attire for the meetings is business. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Washington for the nights of May 15 and 16 at the rate of $233 single/double, or towers room rate of $270 plus tax. To make reservations, please call 202-483-3000 or 800-445-8667 and ask for a room in the Investment Company Institute block. PLEASE MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS ROOMS ARE LIMITED. If you plan to attend the ICI’s General Membership Meeting on May 17-19, the same room block and room rates apply. Reservations must be made by April 19th to secure the room block rates. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to day of arrival to avoid penalty. COMMITTEE DINNER ON MAY 16 A committee dinner is being arranged for the evening of May 16th. Further details on the dinner will be forthcoming. Please help us determine the head count for the dinner reservation by filling out the attached form and returning it to us soonest. Kindly take note that the Institute’s policy is to bill individual committee members who choose to attend for their portion of the dinner. If you confirm attendance for the dinner and cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled event, you will still be charged for your portion of the pre-arranged dinner. 2 GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING We hope that you will stay after the BDAC meeting to attend the ICI’s General Membership Meeting. Please let us know on the attached response form if you are attending and we will pick up your badges for you. Badges will be handed out at the end of the BDAC meeting on May 17. If you wish to register for the conference, you may do so by registering online at http://conferences.ici.org.
