RE: ACCOUNTING/TREASURERS COMMITTEE MEETING - MARCH 9, 2006
This is to inform you that there will be a joint meeting of the Accounting/Treasurers
Committee and the Independent Accountants Advisory Group on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at
the offices of the Investment Company Institute. The ICI is located at 1401 H Street, NW, in
Washington, DC. The meeting will take place in the David Silver Conference Room, which is
located on the twelfth floor.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be served and the meeting is
expected to continue until approximately 1:00 p.m. We have invited Brian Bullard, Chief
Accountant in the Division of Investment Management to attend the meeting and update the
Committee on current SEC financial reporting issues.
For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza
for the night of Wednesday, March 8 at the rate of $229. The Hamilton Crowne Plaza is located
at 14th and K Streets, N.W. in Washington, D.C. To make a reservation, please call the Hamilton
Crowne Plaza at 202/218-7536 or 800/236-9802 by February 6 and ask for a room in the
Investment Company Institute Group block of rooms.
If you plan to attend the meeting, please complete the attached meeting response
form and return it to Agnes Thomas by fax (202/326-8314) or let her know via email
(agnes@ici.org) that you plan to attend. Please let us know whether you plan to attend the
meeting by March 1.
