RE: ATC / IAAG MEETING NOTICE - JUNE 16, 2005 IN KANSAS CITY
This is to inform you that there will be a joint meeting of the Accounting/Treasurers
Committee and the Independent Accountants Advisory Group on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at
American Century’s offices in Kansas City. American Century’s offices are located at 4500 Main
Street, in Kansas City, MO. The meeting room location will be posted in the main lobby. The
meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be served and the meeting is expected to
continue until approximately 1:00 p.m.
For your convenience, we have reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Kansas City
Marriott Country Club Plaza for the night of Wednesday, June 15 at the rate of $119. The
Marriott Country Club Plaza is located at 4445 Main Street in Kansas City, MO. To make a
reservation, please call the hotel at 816/531-3000 by May 25 and ask for a room in the
ICI/Investment Company Institute block of rooms. American Century’s offices are a short walk
from the Marriott.
We have made arrangements for interested Committee members to attend the Kansas
City Royals/Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game on Wednesday, June 15. Transportation
between the Marriott Country Club Plaza and the baseball game will be provided.
Transportation will leave the Marriott Country Club Plaza for the game at approximately 6:00
p.m. Dinner will be provided at the stadium. The total cost (ticket, dinner, and transportation)
is expected to be approximately $30-50 per person.
Please complete the attached meeting response form and return it to Agnes Thomas by
fax (202/326-8314) or return email (agnes@ici.org). If you plan to attend the meeting, please let
us know if you would like to attend the baseball game. Please let us know if you plan to attend
the meeting and the baseball game by May 12.

Airport transportation can be arranged through the KCI Shuttle1 (approximately $16
one-way) Overland Limousine2 (approximately $66 one-way). Taxi service is also available
from the airport (approximately $42 one-way).
