Attached is the agenda for the next meeting of the Research
Committee on June 6, 1990.
The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss the research agenda
for the coming year. Prior to the meeting we will send you
background material on proposed projects as well as on projects
and activities in progress. This material should be reviewed
before the meeting so that we can have a streamlined and
productive discussion.
We value your participation in this planning meeting and hope
that each of you will be able to attend.
SOCIAL EVENTS FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS
1. For Committee members who plan to attend the General
Membership Meeting, May 9-11 in Washington, D.C., there
will be an opportunity to informally meet at Mr. Smith's in
Georgetown about 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 1990. Mr.
Smith's is a restaurant and piano bar at 3104 M Street,
N.W. For an evaluation of the ambiance there, call Betsy
Munzer, Colonial; for financing of this event, you are on
your own! See you there!
2. For Committee members who will be arriving in Washington
the night before our June 6th meeting, we will organize an
informal gathering over dinner. Please contact Abby Fisher
(202) 599-3581 to let us know if you wish to be included.
We need to hear from you on this before June 1st.
