RE: ARRANGEMENTS FOR JUNE 1 AND 2 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS IN KANSAS
CITY, MISSOURI
The next regularly scheduled meetings of the Tax Committee will be held on June 1 and
June 2, 2005 in Kansas City, Missouri at the offices of American Century Investments (4500
Main Street). The Wednesday, June 1 subcommittee meeting (on an issue to be determined a
few weeks in advance of the meeting) will begin at 2:00 p.m. and be preceded by lunch. The
Thursday, June 2 Tax Committee meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and be followed by lunch.
Meeting Response Form
If you plan to attend either (or both) of these meetings, please complete the attached
meeting response form and either fax it to Ezella Wynn at 202-326-5841 or e-mail it to her at
ewynn@ici.org. Those who return the meeting response form will be provided a preliminary
agenda and information regarding the committee activities (i.e., the committee dinner or
baseball game) that we are planning for Wednesday evening.
Hotel Reservations
A block of rooms has been arranged at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza,
4445 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64111. Please make your hotel reservations by calling
the hotel directly at (816) 531-3000. To receive the preferred hotel rate of $119 per night plus
tax, reserve your hotel room by May 18, 2004, and mention the Investment Company Institute
group rate when making the reservation.
