RE: GMM WEEK INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE MEETINGS MAY 10 AND 11, 2005
The next meeting of the International Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2005,
at 2:00 p.m. in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room (DSCR), 1401 H Street, NW, 12th
Floor, Washington, DC. In conjunction with the International Committee meeting, there will be
a number of other meetings during GMM week to which we invite members. A schedule of
events for the week and the preliminary agendas for the meetings are attached.
First, members are invited to participate in the Institute’s International Operations
Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, which begins at 8:30 a.m. (As you
know, the IOAC’s primary focus is the standardization and automation of clearance and
settlement procedures for mutual fund capital share transactions worldwide.) The International
Committee and IOAC will then have a joint lunch, followed by the International Committee
meeting.
As in years past, we also will be hosting a dinner at 7:00 p.m. (cocktails at 6:30 p.m.) on
May 10 for International Committee members and international guests to the Institute’s general
membership meeting. The dinner will be held at the Bank of America Building, 730 15th Street,
NW, Washington, DC. Bank of America has kindly volunteered its reception space, which
overlooks the White House and the US Treasury, with the Washington Monument and Potomac
River in the background. Because we need to provide a list of dinner attendees to bank
security 48 hours in advance, we need to receive your response as soon as possible. Please be
sure to bring a photo ID, which will be required at the security desk.
Finally, on the next day, Wednesday, May 11, 2005, there will be a joint meeting of the
ICI International Committee and EFAMA (formerly known as FEFSI). The meeting, in the
Institute’s DSCR, will begin at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served prior to the meeting and lunch
will follow.
All International Committee members are encouraged to attend these events.
Please complete and return the attached response form by April 22.

We also hope you will consider attending the Institute’s General Membership meeting,
which will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel, May 11-13. The first session of GMM begins
at 3:00 p.m. on May 11. The GMM program and registration form are available on the
