[18568] February 22, 2005 TO: ACCOUNTING/TREASURERS COMMITTEE No. 2-05 INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANTS ADVISORY GROUP No. 2-05 RE: DRAFT AGENDA FOR MARCH 2 ACCOUNTING/TREASURERS MEETING Attached is the draft agenda for the meeting of the Accounting/Treasurers Committee and the Independent Accountants Advisory Group on Wednesday, March 2. The meeting will be held at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W. in Washington. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the David Silver Conference Room, which is located on the twelfth floor. Brian Bullard, Chief Accountant in the Division of Investment Management will attend the meeting to update the Committee on current SEC issues. Lunch will be served and the meeting should end no later than 1:00 p.m. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit Meeting attendees are eligible for approximately 3 hours of CPE credit (Taxation; Accounting/Auditing; and Specialized Knowledge and Applications). The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
