RE: BDAC MEETING NOTICE - JANUARY 27, 2005
The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will be held on Thursday,
January 27, 2005 at the Edward D. Jones Training Center, Room 148, located at 8333 S. River
Parkway, Tempe, AZ. Continental breakfast will be available at 8:15 a.m. and the meeting will
start at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon and the meeting is expected to conclude by 3:00
p.m. Attire for the meeting is business casual.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Arizona Biltmore Resort Hotel for the
night of January 26 at the rate of $229 single or double plus tax and $16 resort service fee. To
make reservations please call 602/955-6600 and ask for a room in the Investment Company
Institute block. Reservations must be made by January 5, 2005 to secure the room rate of $229.
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid penalty.
Please take note that the hotel has a strict policy on this.
The Arizona Biltmore is located at 2400 East Missouri Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. It is
approximately 10-15 minutes by car/cab (8 miles) from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International

RECEPTION/DINNER ON JANUARY 26
On January 26 an informal gathering for the Committee will be held from 6:00 to 9:00
p.m. on the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore. This festive event will include a reception and
plenty of food. More information about the event will be sent to you prior to the meeting.

MEETING ON JANUARY 27
Transportation to E.D. Jones will depart the Biltmore Hotel Lobby at 7:45 a.m. on
Thursday, January 27th, and will also be provided from E.D. Jones to the Phoenix Sky Harbor
Airport immediately after the meeting.
A meeting response form is attached. Please complete the form and indicate whether or
not you or a representative of your firm will be attending the committee dinner on the 26th, the
meeting on the 27th, and whether you would require transportation to E.D. Jones or to the
airport. Kindly fax the completed form to Agnes Thomas at 202/326-8314 by January 14, 2005.
