[18159] November 5, 2004 TO: CLOSED-END INVESTMENT COMPANY COMMITTEE No. 41-04 RE: SURVEY OF CLOSED-END INVESTMENT COMPANY COMMITTEE MEMBERS REGARDING COMMITTEE MEETINGS -- RESPONSE REQUESTED BY NOVEMBER 15TH At the November 3rd Closed-End Investment Company meeting, we distributed a brief survey questionnaire seeking input from Committee members to help us maximize the value of Closed-End Investment Company Committee meetings. The survey addresses topics such as members’ reasons for attending the meetings, the length and frequency of meetings, the usefulness of the meeting materials, etc. Committee members were asked to complete the survey at the meeting. We would like the survey results to reflect the responses of as many Committee members as possible. Therefore, if you (or an alternate) did not attend the November 3rd meeting, please complete the attached survey and return it to us by Monday, November 15th.
