[17975] September 13, 2004 TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 77-04 RE: NOTICE OF SEC RULES COMMITTEE MEETING AND WEST COAST VIDEOCONFERENCE - OCTOBER 28, 2004 A meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, October 28th at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The meeting will be held in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. Lunch will be available from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. Participation by videoconference will be available to Committee members at the offices of Wells Fargo Funds Management, LLC, 525 Market Street, San Francisco, CA, in the Tahoe Conference Room on the 12th Floor, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time. Lunch will be served following the meeting in California. Committee members who will be traveling to San Francisco may wish to note the following. • The Institute will be holding a Mutual Fund Compliance Workshop in San Francisco on Wednesday, October 27th. Additional information about the workshop is available at http://conferences.ici.org. • A meeting of the California ’40 Acts Group will take place in San Francisco at noon on Friday, October 29th. Additional details about this meeting will be forthcoming. Please indicate on the attached response form whether you or an alternate will attend the SEC Rules Committee meeting, either in Washington, D.C. or by videoconference from California.
