RE: BDAC MEETING NOTICE - SEPTEMBER 22, 2004
The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will take place on
Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Goldman Sachs located at 32 Old Slip, New York, NY. The
meeting will be held in Room F. The Goldman Sachs office is approximately one mile from the
New York Marriott Financial Center Hotel, a short cab ride for attendees. Continental breakfast
will be available at 8:15 a.m. and we will begin the meeting at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at
noon and the meeting is expected to conclude by 3:00 p.m.
ACCOMMODATIONS AT THE MARRIOTT FINANCIAL CENTER
If you require overnight accommodations, please contact the New York Marriott
Financial Center located at 85 West Street, New York, NY. The room rate is $279 plus tax
(single/double). To make reservations, please call the hotel directly at 212-385-4900 or central
reservations at 800-228-9290 and be sure to mention that you want the BDAC/ICI Group room
block. You must make your reservations no later than August 30, 2004 to receive the
discounted room rate. We encourage you to make your room reservation early, as hotel space
may be limited in September.
BDAC DINNER ON SEPTEMBER 21
The Committee dinner will be held on Tuesday, September 21st at 7:00 p.m. Further
details on the dinner location will be forthcoming. All participants will be billed for their
portion of the dinner.
MEETING ATTENDANCE
Please complete the attached meeting response form and indicate whether or not you or
a representative of your firm will be attending the September 22nd meeting and the dinner on the
21st. A week prior to the meeting, attendees will receive an email containing attendee lists, a
meeting agenda and supporting documentation for the agenda topics. If you have any agenda
items or topics that you wish to discuss, please include them on the form or email them to
Kathy Joaquin at kjoaquin@ici.org. Attire for the meeting and dinner is business casual.
