[17690] June 18, 2004 TO: NEW YORK CITY AREA SMALL FUNDS MEMBERS RE: MEETING - RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS OF SMALL FUNDS The Investment Company Institute would like to invite you to a meeting for New York City area Small Funds members on July13, 2004. The meeting will take place at The Princeton Club of New York, The Truman – Handy Room, 4th Floor, 15 West 43rd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues), 212/596-1200. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is for the Institute’s Research Department to describe its data collection efforts and explore with members areas for research, specifically tailored to Small Funds. As such, topics to be discussed for potential research include the structure of the Small Funds segment of the industry, distribution models, asset flows, and the impact of economic changes on small funds.
