[17544] May 20, 2004 TO: TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 13-04 BCP SUBCOMMITTEE RE: TAC / BCP MEETING PRELIMINARY AGENDA - JUNE 2-3, 2004 The next meeting of the Technology Advisory Committee and the BCP Subcommittee will be held on Wednesday June 2nd from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST and Thursday June 3rd from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th floor of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC. A preliminary agenda for the June 2nd and June 3rd meeting is attached. There will be a dinner for participants on the evening of June 2nd at Saveur located at 2218 Wisconsin Avenue, NW (202-333-5885). A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m. Institute policy is to bill for dinner individual committee members who choose to attend. Please note that if you confirm attendance for the dinner and cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled event, you will still be charged for your portion of the pre-arranged dinner. Continuing Professional Education Upon completion of the program, each participant will be eligible for approximately 5 hours of CPE credit (Management). ICI is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Learning Objectives To provide a comprehensive understanding of mutual fund operations and provide updates on investor services, technology, and regulatory and legislative developments affecting mutual funds.
