RE: APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL COUNSEL
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth R. Krentzman as General
Counsel of the Investment Company Institute. Elizabeth comes to ICI from Deloitte & Touche
LLP, where she leads the firm’s consulting and regulatory compliance practice for mutual
funds. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche, she held various positions at the SEC. Elizabeth is a
graduate of the University of Florida College of Law.
Many members of the Institute know Elizabeth quite well. She has served mutual funds
in a number of different capacities. As I mentioned in the attached press release, because of her
experience as a private lawyer, government regulator and industry consultant, Elizabeth
understands mutual funds and fund regulation as few people do.
Elizabeth will join the Institute in June. Please join me in welcoming her to the Institute.
