[17454] May 5, 2004 TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 40-04 RE: NOTICE OF SEC RULES COMMITTEE MEETING AND WEST COAST VIDEOCONFERENCE - JUNE 16, 2004 A meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 16th at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The meeting will be held in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. Lunch will be available from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. Participation by videoconference will be available to Committee members at the offices of Capital Research & Management Company, 333 S. Hope Street, 53rd Floor, Los Angeles, CA at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time. Lunch will be served following the meeting in California. Please indicate on the attached response form whether you or an alternate will attend the meeting, either in Washington, D.C. or by videoconference from California.
