RE: 1990 Guide to Mutual Funds

Enclosed is your copy of the Institute's 1990 Guide to Mutual
Funds. This year, the Guide was produced inhouse using the
Institute's desktop publishing system and Word Perfect, Ventura,
and Graph Plus software.
As you know, the Guide gives investors a broad overview of how
mutual funds operate. In addition, the Guide lists over 2,900
open-end investment companies by investment objective and
provides the address, phone number, and other information for
each fund. The list includes companies that were Institute
members as of November 30, 1989.
