APRIL 8 CONFERENCE CALL TO DISCUSS RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TREASURY 2004-2005 GUIDANCE PRIORITY LIST

[17360] April 6, 2004 TO: PENSION COMMITTEE No. 18-04 PENSION OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 30-04 RE: APRIL 8 CONFERENCE CALL TO DISCUSS RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TREASURY 2004-2005 GUIDANCE PRIORITY LIST A conference call has been scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 2:00 pm EDT to discuss recommendations for items that should be included on Treasury’s 2004-2005 Guidance Priority List.1 If you would like to participate in this conference call, please complete the attached response form and fax it to Brenda Turner at 202-326-5841 or e-mail bturner@ici.org by Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 12 Noon. To participate in the call, please dial 877-601-3555 and enter passcode number 31122. The Guidance Priority List is published annually to identify and prioritize the tax issues that should be addressed through regulations, revenue rulings, revenue procedures, notices and other published administrative guidance. The Institute plans to submit a letter recommending tax and pension items to be included on the list by the IRS deadline of April 30, 2004.
