RE: SEC ANNOUNCES REGULATION NMS PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULE CHANGE
The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that it will not hold its first
public hearing on proposed Regulation NMS on Thursday, April 1 in Washington, D.C. as
originally scheduled to better accommodate hearing participants. Instead, the first public
hearing will take place on April 21, 2004, in New York. According to the SEC, subsequent
hearings will be scheduled as needed.
