[17250] March 19, 2004 TO: BROKER/DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 9-04 RE: BDAC MEETING NOTICE - MAY 18, 2004 The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will be held on May 18 at the Washington Hilton Hotel and Towers in Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 9:00 am and conclude by 3:00 pm. A continental breakfast will be available at 8:30 am and lunch will be served at noon. The hotel is located at 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW in Washington DC. If you require overnight accommodations, please contact the hotel directly at 1-800-445-8667 or 202-483-3000 prior to the cutoff date of April 12. Please identify yourself as an Investment Company Institute conference attendee to receive the single/double room rate of $215. Museum Tour On May 17, the BDAC pre-meeting event will be a tour of the International Spy Museum, 800 F Street, NW in Washington, DC from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Round trip transportation will be provided from the lobby of the Washington Hilton Hotel. Buses will leave promptly at 2:30 pm and return directly after the tour. If you wish to participate in this event, we must receive your response no later than April 14, as reservations for the tour are required. Dinner Outing On May 17, the BDAC will have dinner at Buffalo Billiards, 1330 19th Street, NW in Washington, DC at 7:00 pm. The restaurant is approximately 0.62 miles from the Washington Hilton Hotel — a short walk or brief cab ride. General Membership Meeting We hope that you will stay after the meeting to attend the ICI’s General Membership Meeting; please let us know on the attached response form if you are attending and we will pick up your badges for you. Badges will be handed out at the end of the BDAC meeting on May 18. If you wish to register for the conference, you may do so by registering online at http://conferences.ici.org. 2 COMPLETE MEETING AND EVENT REGISTRATION FORM BY APRIL 14 Please complete the attached response form and fax to Agnes Thomas at 202-326-8314 or let her know whether or not you plan to attend the museum tour, dinner and meeting via email at agnes@ici.org no later than April 14.
