RE: ACCOUNTING/TREASURERS COMMITTEE MEETING - MARCH 11, 2004
This is to inform you that there will be a joint meeting of the Accounting/Treasurers
Committee and the Independent Accountants Advisory Group on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at
the offices of the Investment Company Institute. The ICI is located at 1401 H Street, NW, in
Washington, DC. The meeting will take place in the David Silver Conference Room, which is
located on the twelfth floor.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be served and the meeting is
expected to continue until approximately 1:00 p.m. We have invited Brian Bullard, Chief
Accountant in the Division of Investment Management to update the Committee on current
SEC financial reporting issues.
For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Renaissance
Washington, DC Hotel for the night of Wednesday, March 10 at the rate of $209. The
Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel is located at 999 9th Street, N.W. (9th & K Streets). To make a
reservation, please call the hotel at 202/898-9000 or 800-468-3571 by February 20 and ask for a
room in the Investment Company Institute block of rooms.
If you plan to attend the meeting, please complete the attached meeting response
form and return it to Agnes Thomas by fax (202/326-8314) or let her know via email
(agnes@ici.org) that you plan to attend. Please let us know whether you plan to attend the
meeting by March 5.
