RE: ICI GENERAL COUNSEL DEPARTURE
I regret to inform you that Craig Tyle, who has served as ICI General Counsel since 1997,
has decided to make a major career change and is leaving the Institute. Craig has recently
accepted a position as a partner at the law firm of Shearman & Sterling. Craig will remain at the
Institute for the next several weeks.
Craig joined the Institute in 1988. During his tenure at the Institute, Craig has been
instrumental in helping to further the industry’s commitment to strict regulation and the
protection of mutual fund investors. His tremendous expertise and insight will be missed.
Please join me in wishing Craig the very best in his new responsibilities.
