[16731] November 4, 2003 TO: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 47-03 RE: PRELIMINARY AGENDA FOR THE INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE - NOVEMBER 18, 2003 The next meeting of the Institute’s International Operations Advisory Committee will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th floor of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H St., NW, Washington, DC. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude by approximately 2:00 p.m. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The preliminary meeting agenda is attached for your review. We are pleased to be hosting presentations from the clearing and settlement organizations for the committee. Inge Billiau of Euroclear Bank will be providing an update on FundSettle. Next, Craig Dudsak of Clearstream Banking will be presenting an update on Vestima. Finally, James Kiernan and Peter Marshall of DTCC will be discussing the NSCC’s offshore fund services and activities. There will be a Committee dinner on Monday, November 17th at the M&S Grill located at 600 13th Street, NW, Washington, DC (phone # 202-347-1500). A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m. The Institute’s policy is to bill individual committee members who choose to attend for their portion of the dinner. Attire for the meeting is business and for the dinner is business casual.
