TAC MEETING AND BCP ROUNDTABLE - OCTOBER 16 & 17, 2003

[16604] October 2, 2003 TO: TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 12-03 RE: TAC MEETING AND BCP ROUNDTABLE - OCTOBER 16 & 17, 2003 As a reminder, the next meeting of the Technology Advisory Committee will take place on Thursday October 16, 2003 at The Eaton Vance Building, 255 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts (617 598-8230). On October 17, the Committee will conduct a Business Continuity Roundtable at the same location. The Committee meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on October 16 with “shop talk” discussion and conclude for the day at approximately 3:00 p.m. The BCP Roundtable will commence on October 17 at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. Furthermore, there will be a Committee dinner held on October 16. The dinner will take place at Taranta, which is located at 210 Hanover Street (North End) Boston, Massachusetts (617) 720-0052. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m. Institute policy is to bill for dinner individual committee members who choose to attend. Continuing Professional Education Upon completion of the program, each participant will be eligible for approximately 6 hours of CPE credit (Management). ICI is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Learning Objectives To provide a comprehensive understanding of mutual fund operations and provide updates on investor services, technology, and regulatory and legislative developments affecting mutual funds.
